The most posh restrooms available to the public in Greene County will open Tuesday, Feb. 24, when the new Hy-Vee grocery and drugstore opens at 106 W. Washington in Jefferson.
Hy-Vee management hosted local media for a tour this past Thursday. Watch GreeneCountyNewsOnline for more photos. The most eye-catching feature of the store… the restrooms, conveniently located and very clearly marked in the front of the store.
Diaper changing tables are available in the women’s restroom and in a mother’s room. The mother’s room features a sink for hand washing, a comfy chair for nursing, and a nice sized television.
And about the restrooms – it will be easy to forget you’re at a grocery store in Jefferson when you need to answer Nature’s call.
The Hy-Vee will open Feb. 24 at 6 am. Regular hours will be 5 am to midnight, seven days a week.
